There is nothing wrong with posting in old threads, they contain info that maybe the New owners might find useful, and they could also add their experience, and it does make it easier when You're trying to remember what thread it was you saw certain info to help someone else or for personal knowledge. Opening new threads on the same subject makes it more to search thru. Now if it's a new question or problem that with a quick search has not yielded any hits, then by all means post. I'm not coming down on anyone other than we Don't need unnecessary threads on Duplicate subjects.
