The OEM pressure sensor is exactly that, it varies voltage (0-5v from memory which should indicate something like 0-100psi) depending on pressure in the oil gallery. If you piggy-back the OEM pin into the ECU you will get a pressure reading with a digital gauge. You "could" piggy-back directly from the OE pressure switch as well but that is a longer cable run.

The FSM has the spec's. I printed the pages and have them somewhere in my study at home, but I am 100kms from home at present so a bit difficult to take a peek right now as I am at work.
