If there are welds on the straight section of piping after the factory Y splits back apart then yes that is where the custom system starts. Also you were correct to measure the piping, tips are only a cosmetic thing.


Thank you for the explanation. will try and get a picture when I do an oil change..

Would the AAM short tails fit these custom pipes; i am pretty sure it is 2.5" piping.
