Default Octane's 370z journal

Hey all, long time lurker, figured I'd finally make a build thread now that I got a few mods done. Names Jack and I live in Chicago. Bought the car brand new exactly 3 months ago. I usually build my cars very quickly and then get a little bored, so I'm going to try and take this build a little slower than my previous builds. Overall plan is to have a really nice and clean Z with bolt ons. More mods will be coming in the following weeks.

2016 Nissan 370z sport tech in Solid Red.

Exterior:
Nismo front bumper
Nismo rear bumper
BlueBatmobile taillight overlays

Interior:
GTR Push start button

Engine:
Motordyne E370 exhaust
Stillen Gen3 intakes (not yet installed)

Suspension:
KW V1 Coilovers
SPL rear camber arms

Wheels:
Stock sport 19" Rays with 20/25mm spacers (winter setup)
19x9.5 / 19x11 Work VSXX
265/35/19 + 305/30/19 Michelin PSS tires

April 23, 2016. Bought the car new from Orland Park Nissan.

Originally planned to buy a 2016 Nismo Z, but couldn't find a red one within 2000 miles. So I opted to just get the front and rear bumpers.

After swapping the bumpers, figured my car needs some suspension upgrades. Settled on the KW version 1 coilovers and SPL rear camber arms. The entire install probably took me 4-5 hours on an extremely hot and humid day. But the ride is so much better now. Absolutely love KW coilovers.

Took a drive down Route 66 to get the coilovers to settle a bit. And also installed the GTR push start button. Small little upgrade visually.

Wasn't 100% happy with the ride height, so decided to lower the car some more and now I'm really satisfied with the look. Went out to take some pictures at a nice building nearby.
