That being said, on my second run out, with about a half a tank, I started experiencing what I thought could have been knock or timing being aggressively pulled. At first I though maybe limp mode but all temps on the car were great and nice and low and it wasn't happening at a static RPM every time either, so I ruled that out...Then I thought fuel starvation but the car never felt like it was going to die and it wasn't particular hard cutting off either...

So I turned traction control off and I noticed that the VDC Off light & the traction light ended up coming on and permanently staying lit...I don't remember both being solid when I turn it off, just the VDC light. I thought that was weird. Then I tried turning VDC back on and it would not let me at all. I had to get off the course once my session ended and upon turning the car off and on, all was good again.

So what was it? Fuel starvation or something 'stuck' with VDC? basically it started happening on the long sweeping right-handed carousel and the car would accelerate and out of no where, at any particular rpm, it would hit a 'soft' redline and it would just go brrrrrppppprpppprpprpppt (try to imagine that sound LOL) and then it would accelerate again and across the next turn while trying to exit, it would BRRRRRTTRTRTRTRT again, but very mild and soft, as if the car went from being supercharged to NA while hitting some artificial but very soft redline...the car would power through it and then boom it was fine the rest of the way. I don't remember doing it on any of the left handers, but I cant say for sure.

Did I really experience fuel starvation and if so, why did TC behave that way when I tried turning it off and back on?
Ahhh you said it.... "long sleeping right-handed carousel" - it was fuel starve. Especially at half a tank... Which track were you on? I was on NJMP Lightning when it happened to me on the fast right hander after the hill going under the overpass (if you know what I mean). Forgot what number turn it was. Basically you're going about 90 and can go flat out through the turn, but I had the throttle completely cut out and then return an instant later. Really scary moment. I've even had it at 3/4 a tank.
