Default Altima A/C issue

My 2011 altima now has 126k miles on her as of this morning. Along with that the a/c just stopped working meaning light is on but no cold air what so ever is coming out. First thing I did was hit the a/c on and off and that confirmed I couldn not hear the compressor being engaged anymore. So after work I went home and checked the voltage going to the clutch. It's reading the same voltage the car is producing so that tells me it's getting power. Now I checked Ohms but mind you I did NOT disconect the clutch from its harness before checking so my reading might be off. It was reading 1 ohm IF my volt meter was working right.

This tells me that signs point to the clutch needing to be replaced? Can someone confirm this? I also grabbed a can of Freon just in case with a gauge on it. But haven't hooked it up sense i'd rather not blow 30 bucks unless needed. Or should I hook it up and see what it's reading?
