it is probably the battery if it is more than 3-4 years old. a weak battery tends to have difficulty starting and it is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace.

I just replaced the clutch switch because my car would constantly take 2 or 3 pushes to actually turn the engine.
After two days by car dies and fails to completely turn.
I jumped it and it fired up...
Is it just time to get a new battery? or did I somehow connect the switch wrong? I know a fault switch wouldn't even turn the engine but idk... coincidence?
I don't think its the alternator because the battery gauge still reads around 15V while running... faulty alternator would ready a weaker voltage right?
Also, anyone recommend any products that work great for cleaning battery terminals and cables?
