My personal experience
OEM plastic tray: - Stupid expensive
- Light weight
- If the middle 3 clips are missing, it'll sag, especially in high heat (summer heat plus hot engine). On a lowered car, the sagging portion will rub the ground a lot more and eventually tear an opening, where bad air flow will produce this flapping noise at highway speed, making you think something is seriously wrong and seriously embarrassing. However, it'll sacrifice itself when bottoming out rather than destroying the mounting holes.
ZSpeed aluminum tray: - Relatively cheap, even the Nismo version.
- Rigid. Doesn't sag even if the middle 3 clips are missing.
- Easy oil filter access
- Bad thing is if you bottom out in a bad angle, any damage to this aluminum unit is permanent and can tear the mounting hole/s
