That was towards the end of the Z32's run, but specifically the mid 1990s because the japanese yen was too expensive in exchange rate to USD. All the twin turbo Japnese sports cars suffered the same fate. Supra MKIV TT's were hitting $50,000 MSRP before it bowed out in 1998 or whatever.
