I've always loved Z's!

While growing up, one of my friend's mother had a '79 280ZX. Looking back now, they certainly weren't the best looking thing, but definitely better and cooler than my other friend's mother's gold Chevy Citation.

I loved riding in that 280, mainly because I was riding in a "real" sports car, and I was always fascinated with the dash layout with all of the gauges in the center.

A few years later, one of my other friend's father bought a brand new '90 300ZX. I really loved that car. It looked great and sounded great, and I was impressed that it made just about the same amount of horsepower as the same year Mustang 5.0 with two less cylinders and two less liters of displacement!

Much much later when the "brand new" 350Z debuted in '02, it was love at first site again! Unfortunately, I was working at a crap job with crap pay and could never afford one, so all I could do was look and dream.

Then... in '08, the GT-R came out and one of my favorite design aspects of that car is the roof line. There's just something about the way the A-pillar meets the roof and then the roof slopes back towards the trunk.

When the 370Z came out in '09, totally redesigned, one thing that caught my eye right away was that near identical roof line from the GT-R! To add to that, those huge built-in fender flares front and rear. What's there not to like about the 370Z's style?!

And throughout this time, one of my good friends (which is also a member here on the forum) owned a 350 Nismo and now owns a 370 Nismo. Seeing random pics of his car pop up on my FB page over the years just helped me that much more on eventually getting one.

And one last thing, since I started driving in '93, I've had 13 different vehicles. Out of all of them, only one was an automatic which I owned for exactly one month (what a POS), and five of them were FWD. All of the others have been RWD. This Z makes this my 14th vehicle, and of course it's RWD and 6 speed... The way it should be.
