Well after around 3 years and ~10K boosted miles (around half of this on E85) I had the first problem with my car last night. Went out to a car meet for a little and the car drove totally fine on the way there. Hung out for about an hour and when I went to start my car to leave I didn't hear my fuel pump prime. Went to fire the car up and it started and quit. Did it 1-2 more times thinking it was just a fluke with the same result. Take a look at my fuel pressure gauge and its reading just above 0.. First thing I did was check the fuse for the pump and it was fine, knowing I would not be able to tow the car I called Tony at around 10PM just to see if there was anything else I could check that I wasn't thinking of. Long story short Tony got out of bed, went to the shop to grab a fuel pump and all the needed tools, and came and swapped the fuel pump out in the parking lot.
This is what separates Fast Intentions from the rest. I don't think there are any shops out there (if any) that will offer that kind of support ESPECIALLY that late at night (we did not get done till about 1AM)
I am now running the Aeromotive 340 E85 specific pump and will be buying a crash bar/tow hook from F.I. as long as it works with my amuse bumper.
