I think that immaturity and the lack of driving skills behind the wheel of a true sports car can lead to these type of accidents. My son sold his Kawasaki ZX-11 many years ago to a younger kid who did not have a lot of riding experience. The last thing my son said to him was, "try not killing yourself." Well, about 2 weeks later, this kid was riding in a fashion that he was not used to and t-boned a car at an intersection. Fortunately, the kid wasn't hurt too bad.
Something with speed potential and an inexperienced driver can be very dangerous indeed...
