i have to agree with yzgz on that. infinity back in the day were top notch, but that's when they were made by harmon-kardon. personally, jl is definately the cleanest souding bass, but comes with a hefty price tag. if you want a sub that performs well and is very affordable, take a look at massive audio. im currently running a 12" massive audio summo, powered by and old school kicker zx1500.1 amp with a 2 farad cap and it sounds very very clean! i was skeptical about them at first, but i am beyond pleased with the performance of the sub.
