I would say I do the same. Most of the miles I've put on the Z have been travelling back and forth to work (90% highway) and going to my GF's (100% highway).

When I do take a back road I'm driving the car at 60-70%. No launches, moderate cornering speed, etc. Nothing that would make me think the tires should be wearing this quickly.
