While I can see the point in parents treating their children to a lifestyle they
may not achieve until later in life, but is that not the point? One of my parents goals is to let their children have more than what they had, not just in money/gifts/etc. but education, life experiences, etc. Many people choose to work harder and reach that level sooner in life. I will not preach about my own life, but I think some of your comments are extremely pessimistic on society or the youth.
