they crack from the engine moving back and forth, when they're extremely hot, there only weaker.
my friend has a stage 2, gtm, his manifolds cracked 3 years ago.
We placed a flex pipe about 3" before the test pipe flange that bolts up to the manifold.
He was actually in 3 days ago, we changed his oil and etc...
His manifolds are still going strong 50,000 kms later.
Ive seen them crack in a few different places, but I truly believe that there isn't enough flex in there, Everytime you give your car throttle, the engine moves back and forth, the manifold is the weakest point, And when there red hot, there super weak.
