Default Release bearing chatter

Car is one week old. Couple days ago I noticed some chatter from what sounds like it is coming from the release bearing when I let the clutch out in neutral.

Also, if I let the clutch out a little quicker in 1st than would be normal (not dumping it by any means) the throw out fork sounds a little clunky. Metal on metal, two light clunks like it is loose or something.

The clutch releases/engages quite far up the pedal if that is helpful info or not I couldn't say.

Clutch does not slip.

Guess the question is what is normal for these cars. This one has less than 1000km on it and the last Z I drove was my old 78 280 so that's not going to be much of a comparison for me
