If you're not willing to replace the CSC with an aftermarket solution before it fails, then you are almost guaranteed to see it fail before you reach 100K miles.

I've got 80K miles on my Z with zero major issues. I replaced the CSC before it ever failed. I've had a few issues with the CMC, but I just pre-ordered a heavy duty replacement last week. Tires are expensive, but that's mostly because I drive hard enough that I get around 8K miles on a set of rears.
