Stillen and Z1 are the most common ones people install and the general feedback is they all work. My Stillen needed some small work to fit just right but no real problems. What makes stillen so good? I wouldn't go that far, it's just been around around awhile so people are very familiar with it, there are few if any problems reported. The thing is the stock air intake is pretty near the front to not suck in hot air and flows ok enough that ANY intake won't make a noticeable difference.

Z1, FI, and Stillen are all good manufacturers with good stuff. So are most places are with respect to breather mods, it's only when your looking for rarer items where people have run into trouble. The love of FI from some members almost would make you think their giving out free handies with each purchase. The reality is that they often have a wait list for the exhaust but they will keep you happy in the meantime with good customer service.

The best bang for your buck is K&N drop in filters, non-resonated test pipe of your choice, garageline mid pipe, and AAM short tail. A used nismo mid pipe with local pickup would be another budget option. Anything else will be alot more money for little more bang. But then most people care alot about looks and sound just as much as more power and you can't put a price on qualitative upgrades.
