You really need to beat it to the punch. First time was under 12k and was replaced under warranty. The 2nd was close to 60k and the oem was replaced with aftermarket before total failure. Many of us in the forum upgrade to an aftermarket CSC. The starting problem you speak of is the infamous steering lock issue and can occur on a pre '12 model. Never heard of any post '12 model Z with a steering lock issue.
