My ball joint isn't pre-assembled like some of you from factory. So I got some 271 for 8 bucks for Ace. We'll see how she goes. First autocross this Sunday.

I went to the Locktite website and they say that the 262 is a High/Medium strength threadlocker and also give a breakaway torque value. With the 271, they say that it is for fasteners up to 1" diameter and that it is a permanent threadlocker. The only way to break the torque on it after it is cured, is by heating it up to 500 degrees.
