Being a bit on the older side here, I will say this, The Z has always been more of an older mans ride when bought new. I remember my dad wanting one and when I was a teenager only older men had the Zs. Even when I was in my early 20s and wanted to buy decent cars the companies wouldnt let you if you had a certain % of your income going to bills, they check all your bills, not like today where they just check your income basically. So back then buying nice cars was harder than today and thats why you see younger people in nicer cars today for one reason. It was a bummer but then back then you didnt have what you do today, people buying over their head and not just in cars, and not really being able to afford it. So when I was a teenager all I saw was 30 -40 yr old men driving new Zs. I bought the Z more out of nostalgia, not coolness, as it was a car I wanted when younger. When I was able to afford nice cars the Z just wasnt made to the quality I liked until the 370Z, so I was buying other cars like Audis. I also think that is why older guys for the most part dont mod the car as much cuz they remember what the car is suppose to mean. Some might get more power for the car but not so much on the exterior mods. Just my 2 cents.
