Yeah, some manual drivers talk like serious jerk-dyck fahgutz. They act holier than though in the car arena, like they chose the bestest purest most blah blah blah.
And speed times never matter to them anymore. But I'm old enough to remember when manuals were faster and the reason why people bought them... because they were faster.

It's my opinion, manuals are for slow cars. Frs and Mazda 3 is perfect. Paddle shifts are the wisest choice for men that live in the triple digits of their vehicles. It's MORE CONTROL from the safety aspect of control.

Both have their strengths n weaknesses.
