Default Ecutek Closed Loop Boost Control using CPC Harness

Hey Guys,

I am not at all happy with my SCG1 boost controller so I am in the midst of getting my hands on a GM 3 bar map to hook up to the car so it can monitor boost and control it.

I plan to steal the boost regulator from the SCG1 and the awesome guys at Ecutek said it would be best to use the CPC harness to control it.

My question is I dont want to just unplug the CPC valve and cause a possible over-pressurization of my fuel tank since one of the vents will now no longer open as it should. Has anyone every addressed this or done this? I am looking through the service manual now and I see there is another valve. At the same time I can disconnect this line and vent to ATM but id like to see what others have done even if it was just deleting the charcoal container.

I need closed loop boost control, its weird that a company like innovative does not allow for it with their system.

Thanks in advance

Mitch
