My opinion, if it's not causing any vibration or noise, don't worry about it. I get those all the time. Your pads may be running thin and the rivets may be starting to rub. Maybe not too. Sometimes it's just a piece of metal in the semi-metallic pads. Could be a small pebble got in there too. I just run till the rivets start making the grinding noise. Then bring it all back to spec with new pads and rotors. I change rotors since I wear the heck out of them with the XP8 pads.
