Lots of good advice itt. Having had an 18-wheeler change lanes into me years ago where two interstates merged, I am particularly careful to avoid being in a truck's blind spot when they or I are merging.

I also try not to drive beside them for any longer than necessary. If "forced" to do so, I strive to get in a position where I can see the truckdriver's face in his rear-view mirror.
