370 ownership is close to becoming much like that of the of the 350 imo. Being a 2 seater at that price it initially lends itself to only a few demographics, those with the expendable income for multiple cars/weekend sports car, those just beginning to make good money without children yet, that niche crowd who's been dedicated to the Datsun/Nissan performance lines for years, etc.
But as the model sticks around too long or just gets old, the prices get so low that the spoiled teens to early twenties demographic not needing extra seats starts buying up all the early years models and as that happens you start to see them on the roads everywhere. Then come all the wrecks and increased premiums for the model... Nowadays I see a decently large percentage of 350 and 370z owners in alot of the cities I'm in are of that younger demo. The 370z isn't rare on the road at all imo.
