So I could only drain like 1.5 gallons of coolant out of the engine using a ramp.

I waited a good 45 min. I'm okay with it cause I got about 70% out... I suppose u only need 2 gallons if u do it with a ramp.

Burped it once, letting the engine cool right now to do one more burp cycle in a little bit. Then taking her out on a drive.
