The Gen will NEVER HANDLE or have the driving dynamics of ANY 2 SEAT sports car let alone the Z. With a 16 hp deficit an automatic Z demolishes auto Gen's. They only compare acceleration in manual transmission.
Steering feel, seating position, seat contouring for serious driving, Rev limiter bouncing, DRM/SRM, AKEBONO, Rays wheels, ALUMINUM suspension and many other internals are far more superior to the gen, that's why they practically give u a nav for free. They know what they lack. Even the brembos on the Gen need more than just pads n RB600.
You forget unlike everyone else here I know the gencoupe inside out. Nobody here cares to give it respect. I do... I like the gen a lot...but...
It's NO 370Z. Not even a little bit. If you think they're close in performance it's cuz you've never pushed both of them.
The Z needs Koni yellow swifts n an alignment n ur good.
Gen needs the high end stance or ark suspension set up just to compete with a Z.
Keep it real mah man

The Z IS a better sports car. I knew that going into it. I never advocated otherwise. But as a DD having both, when money is on the line, I prefer the Genesis. As a DD I beg you to find a flaw against the the 370. IMO, it's a MUCH better DD. There is literally nothing a Z does better as a DD than a 3.8. Again, IMHO, the 3.8 is better in the overwhelming majority of DD activities for 90% of performance for 10k less. Now going to the track...
