It could be the pedal sensor. You can use an OBD/CAN scanner to read values ECM is seeing. See FSM for details.

Or could be dirty MAF(s). Cleaning is an easy job if you've ever turned a wrench (easy to get to, 2 small bolts per MAF, no gaskets). Several DIYs on this site.

Modern cars are pretty good at diagnosing themselves. Spend a few bucks on an OBD/CAN scan tool. They are available for about $20 up to whatever you want to spend.
