No offense to anyone who wears them to keep their hands warm in a roadster or if you live somewhere that gets very cold or has snow. I had a pair of deerskin gloves that I wore while in the car for a few winters in Virginia before moving back to SoCal where a cold snap is 50 degrees.

Have a look sometime in the collector car section on ebay at the classic sports cars of the 1950's, '60's and '70's interiors. You will see why driving gloves were invented and popular.
