You can buy either 5qt. Redline and filter/crush washer or 5qt. Nissan Ester oil and filter/crush washer from z1motorsports.com for around $60. What I learned is whether you use a synthetic or conventional oil, when you shut the car off it is like holding a piece of paper against a fridge and you pull your hand away it falls, much like the oil in your engine. An ester oil acts more like a magnet and clings to everything in your engine, working better in this sense for your VVEL system. I will try to find the article I found explaining this. People have been using esters for years in jet engines and compressors. Nissan Genuine Ester oil is still synthesized in process but only contains mineral and vegetable oil, and also animal fats.
