I wear gloves when driving in cold temperatures, for obvious reason, and while participating in an autocross. The gloves give me consistent grip since my palms sweat in such hot temperature creating inconsistent friction for the steering wheel making it harder to grip and steer.

Too much hassle to put on and take off gloves for street driving. Although, when I had my '12 BOSS 302 with its alcantra steering wheel, I creatively "found" excuses to wear gloves while driving it to preserve the alcantra
