For one, what other people do with their car, not your concern. Sure you might have an opinion about it; but for you to become physically ill with rage doesn't make any sense. Secondly, most grassroots, and even pro racers, are running replicas and are SPONSORED by replica companies. Almost half the D1 and pro am drifters use rotas. Why? because it's cheaper and they need 4 or 5 sets of rims and tires to run their sessions.

Now there's an argument to be had over IP infringement and loss of market value but that's generally not why people get mad when they see replicas.
