No, clutch fluid doesn't go down as you use it. If it's empty, it had to go somewhere. When people here have this problem, it's followed very shortly by csc failure. No ones trying to scare anyone. It's just the fact that sudden fluid loss is one of the signs you're about to see your car on a tow truck.
