I did the same thing, passenger mirror all the way out until it clicks, and there is still a huge blind spot on the right side. Can't see the highway at all when I am merging in from the left on a u-turn type road on a highway, or cars merging in from the right side entrance ramps. UNLESS I lean all the way toward the steering wheel and then look over to the mirror. I'm 6'3" so with the seat all the way back and leaned all the way back the blind spot is very problematic. Turning your head doesn't help as the huge C Pillar is in the way (between small window and hatch). Currently getting a curved rearview mirror so that can play a larger role.

Curious how tall are you? Or how much do you lean forward?
