Original ('09) TPMS sensors installed this morning into the '15 Nismo Rims/Tires and everything is back to normal and working perfectly.
As I mentioned before, the Nissan dealership quoted me roughly $200 to switch the '15 TPMS out for my originals. Tires Plus did the parts, labor, taxes, and the full switch for under $60 out the door. Just one more tally mark against the Nissan dealerships in my mental record of "things that suck".
Seriously, how can they make such good vehicles and have such awful, uninformed, and generally useless dealerships? It's sad (but telling) that the best interaction that I've ever had with ANY Nissan dealership has been when they didn't charge me to figure out that they couldn't help resolve the problem.
