Back in the day when there was resistor type 02 sensors, they would get damaged from impact wrench's. This day and age they're a heater type 02's. They still have a resistor, but completely different style.



I own a exhaust/mech shop, we never remove the 02's, ever.

Really? I've heard a lot of people here report failed O2 sensors after shops use an impact on them. If it's a myth I've wasted a lot of time doing things the hard way.
