is this actually a 24HR race? Seems most of the cars wouldn't make it that far. I have a friend that races in local LeMons races. Most only last for an hour or two.

It's actually 8hrs a day so 16hr total
Days usually start with 150+ cars and lots of cars die after a few hours
We go thru the car front to back and something always happens
Abuse a car at truck speeds for a few hours and stuff breaks
It's super fun and you get lots of track time
