If your jack stands have a groove in them for a pinch point use these:

I have used these pads for over decade and love them. They were developed by a local SoCal hot rodder who was out of the Long Beach area; now in Burbank. In fact, I have the
vise pads,
tools pads, and even a very large piece of material you lay on your work bench that he no longer sells—none have ever worn out.
