Ford does offer factory installed superchargers on the V8 models through their FRPP arm. Full warranty coverage up to around 500-550 whp.

yep that would be the reason...I mean all you need to do is up the boost and bam your traveling in GT territory. The factory installed S/C is kinda why I brough up the whole TT from ford. I'm happy that ford realized that the 4.0 making a measly 210hp wasn't going to cut it. So now that this new 3.7 V6 with more power is out they can acutally do better comparisons with other cars, no more 370z vs. mustang GT. I def. can see an epic battle between the new mustang v6 and 370z... both are close when it comes to the engine specs, both have a 6sp m/t and IMO just basing on the current '10 v6 curb weight, a +200lb for the mustang. Advantages for the mustang is the price will probley be below 30k if you op for everything. I'm liking all these new cars coming out and gunning for the best v6...well except for honda and toyota
lol
