I only ask because as part of the oil change on the trans you have to add the required amount (quickly replacing the screw) start the car then remove the screw, excess will drain but if nothing comes out then you can add more at this stage, while the engine is running, until it starts to drain. It should be at the right level then. Replace the sump screw and your away.
We had a copper tube on the pump with a small piece of the clear hose about 1" from the tip that worked as a plug so we could fill it with the car off. We then ran the car until the pan was 100 degrees and pulled the plug with the car running. The first time we filled it Pat didn't tell me to do it running and it was trying to dump all the fluid.
