Take that middle cover off and you will see a pin bent over a big nut. That is where it connects to the axle. There is grease in there already. I would slop a little more grease on top of things in there and put the cap back on. I don't know if that is the right or wrong thing to do but that is what I would do.

ninja edit: dry out things in there somehow before you smear the grease in. Use a rag, air, let the hair dryer, let it sit int he sun or whatever before you grease.
