I really think you guys will see a low volume return of manual transmissions by 2020. I think they're just working out statistics before production and how go offer the same manual unit for a variety of cars to make it worth the investment. But they know they'll only be able to produce 10% of there annual sales on manuals.

I don't think manuals make sense in really fast cars.
I'd reserve a manual for a miata or Mazda3 or civic. In these high HP cars your focus should be driving. Not switching gears with one hand off the steering wheel.
