That is just kind of **** move. I never expect any thing, to me it's just a job but it seems kind of dickesh to me.

I got pulled over the night I got home from my second deployment for an illegal right on red that had changed during the 12 months I was gone. In uniform bags in the back. When the officer asked me if I saw the sign and informed me it had been a no right on red for 6 months now I respectfully replied sorry sir I've been in Iraq for the last 12 months and did not know it had changed, and apologized for missing the non-lighted sign at midnight. Dude wrote me ticket and said, "Well even war heros need to follow the law."

That was actually my only bad run in with a police officer. I'm always respectful and leave my hands on the wheel until the officer asks for my paperwork. I don't want him to see me shuffling around and be worried I'm reaching for some thing. I always start the conversation with letting the officer know I'm carrying and wear my weapon currently is located. So far its always turned out well for me.
