Seemed pretty straight forward to me. The damper was already assembled, so the only thing that you need to do is measure the crank OD, then measure the inside of the damper. Subtract one from the other and if you're within spec, then you're good to install. Not sure what you would do otherwise? One would think that it would only be a problem if the tolerance was too loose.

For me, the hardest part of the job was getting the craftsman pulley puller to stay in place so I could pull the old pulley off. The ATI damper install kit looks like a fancier pulley puller to me, but I don't have one so its just a guess.

Removing the radiator didn't leave me with much space so rather than trying to tap the damper on with a plastic hammer, I pressed it on by tightening the crank bolt until it bottomed out.
