I paid for some exterior paint protection warranty on our new Honda recently, and I made the dealer redo it three times before finally giving up. They even had me meet their head detailer (not impressed
), who said he was going to do the work personally, and they gave it back to me with a giant scratch still remaining across the rear trunk deck. The warranty covers scratches, door dings, rock chips, bird crap etchings, etc for five years, which is why I got it. I wouldn't have let them touch the paint in the first place, but they said they had to apply some stupid product they said prevents scratches
How ironic they caused a $hit ton of scratches applying the product
