I wouldn't let the dealership do anything to the paint - very few of them have the equipment and knowledge to fix it. When they do have the equipment, the job is usually delegated to the same guy that washes cars for minimum wage.
Look through some of Junkman2008's paint repair/maintenance threads on this site and see if the scratch is something that you might be able to repair. Or take the car for a test drive and visit your favorite body shop for an estimate.
