I agree with MB above in that it really depends on how hard you drive. What did the drain plug look like? It can be a good indicator of how filthy the fluid is. The stock one is magnetic, and mine often has a nasty film of metallic shavings when I change the fluid. I don't track, but mine is often pretty nasty after 15K miles. That's to be expected though. I like driving harder than the stock VLSD can handle
