Good Afternoon Everyone,
I have been working on this small project for a little while now. I started this project end of Summer 2009 hoping to make it public sometime in September or October. But as you know, my dad suffered a massive heart attack in the first week of October and went though an open heart surgery and some more complications. He spent one month in the hospital and now slowly recovering. This incident has pushed the release date of this site and almost stopped all my input into it.
So, without any further delay, let me introduce a blog/forum site that's dedicated to Nismo 370z owners - TheNismoZ.com. I think till this date there's NO dedicated forum for the Nismo Z owners. Some "other" Z forums has small subsections but that's about it. I always felt that they have NO WHERE to go and have a enthusiast chit-chat about their awesome AUTECH Nismo Zs. I loved the Nismo 350Z. I also have a lot of weakness for the Nismo 370z for it's beautiful design. I think AUTECH did a fantastic job on both of these cars.
Also, there's another reason for this site. Every time we have a downtime in our The370Z forum, I always hear people say "it was the longest x hour ever" or " I had to go to x or y forum just to pass time" etc etc. Well now, you can come to this site when there's a downtime at The370Z.com. This will make your time go faster and you'll still be with your friends from The370Z.com.
I know some of you experienced an unexpected downtime today (around 0100 - 0200 hours) in the morning and I truly apologize for not giving any heads up. We are working on it to solve this new script related problem. Once this is fixed we are going to focus on the "
older" database error issue that many of the forum members experience usually at midnight and rarely during the day. Right after that we plan on moving to a bigger and better server with lighting fast browsing and image uploads. (though it will
significantly increase my hosting cost
)
While these are all positive things but most of them WILL require multiple downtime
. So, that's why I thought it's important for me to provide another place where you can hang out and talk to your colleagues. If I remember correctly, I think someone told me that they felt like they were a child without home when we had downtime for the the370z forum software update
Nismo owners can still post their questions here on the forum in the
Nismo 370z subsection (added today) as the new place is still VERY new.
